The photographs by Irmgard Sonnen are water reflections of the
river Main. They are accompanied by a text by Ute Seiderer which represents a literary excursion through the literary history in which the river plays a central role as a metaphor. The photographs are
not digitally worked on. They are authentic testimonies of reality, which document a singular time — and space detail which cannot
be repeated.
